Sometimes
it seems brain surgery has to be performed to pull a tooth. Dealing with
designers is no differnt at times, but Ray makes the entire design process easy.
Phase 1, Confer and Consult;
First we'll start a review
process that will touch on all aspects of your project, from design, contractual
and payment terms.
Phase 2, Design and Compose;
Upon
your acceptance of the price. You will need to enter into an "Design
of Artwork Agreement" (this is not nessessary on small jobs - usually
a 50% down payment will safice) and begin the compositional sketch process
with the Artist, for a price of $100 to $1,000 for the production of compositional
sketches (the price varies depending on the complexity of the sketches).
This is a very beneficial arrangement for both you and the Artist. You're
only purchasing the time of Amber Hills Design for the creation of compositional
sketches. If you're not satisfied with the sketches, you've only
paid for the compositions and NOT the full price of a full project. If
you accept the compositions, the price of these sketches will be applied
to the price of the commission of the overall project.
Details
including typography, composition, color, and the flow of information
will be notated on these sketches. The final sketches will be referred
to as “Original Specifications”. Upon your approval and signature
of the sketches (Original Specifications) the developer will begin the
production phase of the project.
Phase
3, Production;
After your approval of the previous phases,
we will produce the programming and design elements to conform as close
as possible to the Original Specifications and within the cost parameters
specified. After the production is completed we will deliver a beta of
the of the work performed. You can review the project, make notes/comments
as to any corrections and deliver back to us. He will make the changes
required and deliver the finals back to the you again. Upon your approval,
the delivery of the final project will be delivered.
